The food police: who stole the tarts?

In our current financial climate you will probably just as surprised as I am to discover our Police budget is being wasted on catching......wait for it......desert thieves!!!!

Yes. Desert thieves.....but not any desert thieves.....POLISH desert thieves.

You've gotta be kidding :S

This year we are predicted to extradite over 1000 'criminals'. More than 4 times the amount in 2006.

Over 40% of the cases originate from Poland.

The problem is the polish do not have a crime filtering process, which means that every case no matter how trivial has to be tried.

Polish Criminals 

So far this year British Police have arrested a Door thief, (who stole his own doors), a Desert snatcher, and a Piglet rustler. Seriously!

When our Police find these people they have to be shipped off back to Poland.

According to DS Gary Flood "We now arrange for a Polish military flight every three weeks".

Surely this has got to be costing? Time and Money??

I think the Polish are having a laugh at our expense, literally.
